Sponsorship

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1631, translation by Abu Amina Elias

Sponsoring a sister to study in The Nusaibah Collective is a form of continuous charity which is multiplied in this life and the next, by Allah’s Permission. The sisters who join the Collective also tend to pass their knowledge on within their families and communities. The aim of their studies includes eventually becoming qualified to teach in their own right which also brings uncountable benefits, insha Allah. The opportunity for ajr through sponsorship is significant and should not be overlooked.

Mu’adh ibn Anas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever imparts knowledge will have the reward of whoever acted upon it, without detracting from the reward of one who acted.

Sunan Ibn Mājah 240, translation by Abu Amina Elias

Sponsorship Level 1: General

The first level of sponsorship involves a lump sum donation that will be put towards a sister’s studies or her books. Lump sum donations can range between $25 to $500 and should be made via eTransfer. There are no tax receipts for donations as The Nusaibah Collective does not have charity status.

Sponsorship Level 2: Full Year

To sponsor an entire year of one sister’s study, a lump sum donation of $750 CAD can be made, or payments made according to TNC fee schedule. Payments should be made via eTransfer. There are no tax receipts for donations as The Nusaibah Collective does not have charity status.

Sponsorship Level 3: Full Class

Class sizes are kept small in The Nusaibah Collective to maximize sister-to-shaykh teaching time. To sponsor a class of five sisters for a year, a lump sum payment of $3750 CAD can be made, or paid in increments according to the TNC fee schedule. Payments should be made via eTransfer or through Paypal. There are no tax receipts for donations as The Nusaibah Collective does not have charity status.
